whew! what a week

that was the most wonderful week after 2 years of my pathetic existence here in bahrain....

updates...

my wisdom tooth popped out in just a week.
no pains, no fever, whatsoever!
guess im lucky i've never suffered a toothache since i was a kid...
wish my luck extends to my job though..


speaking of jobs, i've been offered one in PARIS! seriously, i thought mr. victor (of editec france) was joking when he told me i could work there, turned out he wasn't!

but...

i turned him down.

pretty stupid, huh?

i can't leave bambi, i told him that. but still he insisted i could bring bambi, too.

problem is, bambi has the most wonderful job and the most wonderful company and he didn't want to leave.



he reminds me of my father. warm and never intimidating. i always look forward to making dummies each day, a big deal for me since i always have to drag myself out of bed before.

speaking of which, mr victor told me my father gave me the most valuable gift of all... what was that? oh, yeah, i forgot --- knowledge and the ability to express myself artistically. pretty deep. and pretty much the truth. i could never be here if he never taught me.



now, where was i?

ah, paris. who could ever resist paris? and what kind of fool would exchange bahrain for paris?


a fool like me, i guess.





truth is, im skeptical about this because it's too good to be true. and i don't want to expect too much coz i don't want to be disappointed. ever since i was a child, each time my mother goes home from hongkong i don't believe them until she steps into our house. i always think it's better to be surprised than hoping for something and be disappointed in the end.
